Here is a pretty cool site that I came a crossed, and wanted to share!
It is a Paint Program that is in your browser. It has “Allot” of stuff you can use on your picture or graphics on it. I find this good for if you are running a laptop or something smaller and you do not want to hog it up with something like Paint.net or Photoshop (Which you could not get on a laptop anyway). It does have more things on it than Paint – that crappy thing everyone has on their computer!
Since it is fairly easy and I am REALLY bored. I will walk you threw how to work it.
Setting Up SplashUp: When you go to the site, you will see where they show you a LITTLE bit about what you can do. If you do not want to read that or are done… Click on Jump Right In – this will be the big box that says those three words. All you will need to get, is an Adobe Update which most of your should have, so it will probably load right up. If not, get the Adobe Air update (Which is located right in the box) and you will be on your way!
Now that you have it all set up and ready to go you need an image to edit right? Go to…
File: New Image – This will just give a Transparent box, whatever the size is that you made it.
Open Image – There you can uploaded your own picture from You Computer, Flickr, Facebook, Photobucket and even your own website… etc. You have to be a MEMBER of these sites to be able to get images off them.
Capture Image From Webcam – That is exactly what it says, if you have a webcam and it is plugged in (Lolz) you can click that and it will take a picture from your cam and stick it right in the editor. Now that you have an image, what can you do to it?
You can go to… Filters – this has 15 things in it you can do to your pictures. Those are fun to just mess with if you do not know what they are. If you do not like what you have just done, you can go to - Edit: Undo
Of course you have all your tools on each side. I really like the Color Bar in the right side. It works really well if you know your color codes. Or you can Drag and Drop the little ball in the gradient color box. I am pretty sure everyone knows how to use those. On the other side is your basic stuff, Cropping, Paint Brush, Color Picker, Erase…etc. I really like the Paint Brushes tool because if you go up to the bar that pops up under the File/Edit/Image bar. You can pick what kind of Paint Brush you want and fix the size of it.
You do not have to be a member to use this. If you would like to download it, you can if you go back to the front page and it will say Try Splashup Light. I would just assume you get Paint.Net if you are looking for a Free Easy to Use Paint Program Hopefully you think this is uber cool… Because I sure do. I have been looking for more of these types of sites. Does anyone have any good ones?
