How To Get Older Versions Of Programs

And yet again, I found another Uber Cool Website. You know why it’s cool? Yeah, neither do I, but I just know it is.

It’s this site where you can go and get Old Versions of things. Such as, MSN Messenger, Skype, Firefox, Google Chrome, FTP… etc.

Old Apps Link

I went there not to long ago and got an older version of MSN because I hated the new one... and I AM NOT WILLING TO CHANGE. But, it has worked just fine.

One thing that is the problem with going back to old versions (like with MSN) is that they may not have as good of security as the new stuff. But, that is not a big deal.

Here is how you do it:

So, when you go to the website, you will see 15 Groups. One for Music, Web Tools… etc. Whatever you are looking for, just click on that!

It will tell you what the Current Version is, and what it is Compatible with.

Where it says, “Download (Name) 1.1.1” you will see a Floppy Disk and a download link. Click that.

If you are getting something like an older version of Firefox, it will automatically delete your old one and replace it with the new (or old) version. It will tell you what you need to do to get it working.

It’s really easy and seems to work perfect. Be sure to look and see what the version is compatible with… because if you have the new Windows 7, don’t expect to get allot of older versions of things. I just found this out, because my Mum got W7 and we figured out she can’t get allot of stuff. Bummmmmeeeerrrr!

So, if this article helped you, be sure to share it, like it, tweet it, and all the good stuff.
