This is a cool tool if you are looking for a good site to get/find color codes. I have been getting a few searches for people looking for color code charts. Well, I have something much better than a color chart, because with this you can pick more colors. It is not just a few colors someone has screen-shotted and posted. Although, those are great, I have definitely used those before.
When you first get the page up you will see the big boxes with all the colors. You should also see all the little boxes below. You can click on any color and it will pop that color over on the left hand side in the editor. Below the color there is R: G: B: - Which stands for, Red, Green and Blue. RGB is in every color imaginable on the web. Those are what make the colors you get.
On every color you will see these codes: RGB (for making the color in a graphic editor) and HEX (for putting the color in HTML).
It is a type of code. Without it, we would not get the simpler HTML code which is your #00000 type stuff. It all beings with RGB-HEX. You can set those if you want, that is of course if you know what the color stuff is, which allot of people do not, so do not feel bad. Lolz! I have no idea what any one those numbers are. If you do decided to do something with those, when you got it all ready, click Set RGB and your color should change, along with the color boxes in the middle. Where you see the # (whatever) that is the code you need to use for any type of HTML editing for text color, images...etc.
If you have some codes, but want to find out what color they are, you can go ahead and put that in # area and click Set HEX. If you want to change the color tone, click on Lighten Scheme or Darken Scheme.
Of course there are the little boxes down at the bottom. You know what those are. Click on one of them and you can do all the same crap with it as the big boxes.
That is about it for that. Once you have found an uber cool color, just copy it right out and paste it wherever. TIP: If you are messing around with HTML color code or images, ALWAYS make sure you have # in the beginning or it ill not work.
Easy enough, huh? If you were new with color codes you are now (Or almost) an expert. *HIGH CYBERFIVE* - Sooooo maybe not than. xD
Peace, Love and Color Codes
