Inspirational Night on American Idol

Tonight for American Idol’s top 8, was inspirational night. Where they sing songs that inspire them. Well obviously. LOL

Michael Johns: sang “Dream On”.
Randy said, “I thought that was a pretty good song choice for you, but it had some pitchy problems dude”. Paula said, “You sound as good and you look great”. Simon said, “I thought it was a very good performance, you look good too”.

I thought he was ok. Me and my mom think he has the biggest but we have ever seen on a man. He’s not even fat. Personally I think he can go home.

Syesha Mercado:
sang “I Believe”.
Randy said, “It was ok, just ooook”. Paula said, “I just think this is one of your most shining nights”. Simon said, “I thought you sang it very well, but what it had no emotion, which I got when Fantasia sang it”.

I don’t like her and I don’t think she picks that great of songs to sing, but I freakin’ love the hair. I would love to have hair like that, but it would look weird on a little white girl.

Jason Castro: sang “Somewhere Over The Rainbow”.
Randy said, “Dude, man Jason Castro is back. That was the hottest so far tonight man”. Paula said, “You have the most different sound”. Simon said, “First time, I heard that version I wasn’t sure, second time ok, loved it third time, fantastic”.

He is very cute, but he is not the best. He sang it quite well I think, but I do not see him becoming the next American Idol.

Kristy Cook: sang “Anyway”.
Randy said, “There were a couple little pitchy things, but I loved it”. Paula said, “I think you outdid yourself tonight. This was your best by far”. Simon said, “I thought you were very, very good, indeed”.

That little wanna be Martina McBride can’t sing at all. I DO NOT like her. I know it’s a wee bit harsh, but it’s just my opinion.

David Cook: sang “Innocent”.
Randy said, “I’m not sure this was one of your best”. Paula said, “I think that you are good”. Simon said, “I didn’t like this performance very much at all”.

He was pretty boring. He is really starting to die off. That little “Gives Back” thing he had on his hand at the end of the song, was really nerdy. He think that will get him points. I think that will not.

Carly Smithson: sang “The Show Must Go On”.
Randy said, “It was disconnected for me dude, just not your best”. Paula said, “It was not your best”. Simon said, “You screamed most of it and it was kind of angry”.

I like her, I don’t care what she sings or how she sings it. Simon says “Angry”. I think not. Shes awesome.

David Archuleta: sang “Angels.”
Randy said, “Yo that was one of you best dude”. Paula said, “That was fantastic”. Simon said, “Best song choice of the night so far”.

Hes gotta go, that’s all I have to say.

Brooke White:
sang “You’ve Got A Friend”.
Randy said, “ It was ok”. Paula said, “I think it was the perfect way to close the evening dear”. Simon said, “It was nice. Was it original? No. Was it nice? Yeah”.
She rocks, I really like her.

So be sure and watch American Idol tomorrow, cuz they are having their America Gives Back gig.

The people who are going to be there are::
Bono, Brad Pitt, Reese Witherspoon, Miley Cyrus, Mariah Carey, Eli Manning, Peyton Manning, Fergie, Chris Daughtry, Carrie Underwood, Annie Lennox, John Legend and Snoop Dogg. Ryan Seacrest and Ellen DeGeneres host.

Hope you watch on FOX 7/8 central
