David Cook Releasing New CD

David Ronald Cook born, December 20th 1982, grew up in Blue Springs Missouri. He went to collage to be a graphic designer, and never had much interest in music, at the time. After graduating, he moved to Tulsa Oklahoma and was a bar tender (Not a Graphic Designer :p). Sometimes he would sing at local bars and gigs, for fun.

One day one of his friend suggested he try out for American Idol. And, so he did. He tired out for season 7 of AI.

I remember Simon not liking him to much, saying something about “He’d never make it far in the competition”. HA! Guess D.C showed him. I didn’t really like him when he got into the top 12, he seemed cocky, and too full of himself.

Now after winning American Idol, he is getting ready to release his first self-titled album “David Cook” November 18th 2008.

I’m not a huge fan of him myself, but this song is one of the best if I had to choose out of them.

He has not made any music videos yet… SLACKER. HA!

Light On

Maybe I like that one, because it’s requested on the radio 1,000x times a night. Lolz
