Teen Idols

Well after 8 days without thy beloved IDOL, it was that time again to watch a bunch of freaks sing. I was kind of hoping this week would be allot better then last week, because anyone who watched that would agree it was not that great! The best one was Danny Gokey! Of course we did not get it last night, THANKS TO PRESIDENT OBAMA, what does he need to be on TV for anyway? Does he think he is special?

First up was Jasmine Murray: She sang, “Love Song” by Sarah Bareilles. I really like that song, even though it is boring. She made it even more boringer! It really did not have enough pizzazz. Randy said, it had good moments and bad moments, it was not really the right song for her. I agree, she does not have a horrible voice, but she sounds old fashion! Simon seemed to think she was too young, in a few years she could really go somewhere! I do not think she will make it!

Matt Giraud: He sang one of my favorites, “Viva La Vida” by Cold Play! I am sorry, but that was bad. Simon said, that is was on the verge of horrible. Yes! Randy seems to think he has MAD TALENT! He can defiantly sing, but he is to boring. I highly dislike it when people try and sing NEW songs that you have heard on the radio a million time. Then you have it stuck in your head the way you have heard it, which then makes the people on idol seem sucky!

Jeanine Vailes: She sang, “This Love” by Maroon 5. I can NOT stand Maroon 5, I thought for the longest time they were Moron 5 ? Odd! Anyway, I hated her performance. Simon, Paula, Kara, Randy = “Good Legs”. And that was all they really said!

Norman Gentle/Nick Mitchell: He sang, “Dream Girls”. OMG I LOVE HIM! He is so pimp, and I totally voted for him! I seriously hope he makes it a ways. American Idol needs humor and excitement! Simon prays he does no go through. OH COME ON SIMON, stop being a party pooper. Kara even said, he was not terrible singer. I KNOW!!!! But it was kind of weird the way he was messing with the American Idol sign…Poor sign. He will make it, he has too!

Allison Iraheta: She sang, “Alone” by Heart. Can I say she kicked arse? I like her, she sounds like she is about 90 when she talks and when she sings but still. She has a cool sounding voice. Unlike some of the other girls her age she seems to be up to the time. I voted for her! Randy said, she blew it out of the box. Kara said, she doesn’t even know how good she is. She will make it, I hope!

Kris Allen: He sang, “Man in the Mirror” by Michael Jackson. Not another Michael Jackson song. OMG! Yes I know, they only did one this night, but that is more then enough! I have no idea who this Kris guy even is, I do not remember seeing him anywhere?! Kara said, it was the wrong choice of song. Paula disagrees and says, is was awesome and he nailed it. Then Simon agrees with Paula. What is wrong with these people? He surly will not make it, because I do not even remember his name little long number! HA! On the bright side he was kind of cute!

Megan Corkrey: She sang, “Put Your Records On” by Corrine Bailey Rae. I really like her, she seems cool and sweet and she has awesome hair! I was not sure about her performance, was not my favorite, and she ‘danced’ awkwardly. I think she might have a chance, I dunno though!

Matt Breitzke: He sang, “If You Could Only See”. I liked it, I thought it was rather boring, but it was not bad! He can sing, but he looks like a huge dope up there trying to dance! The judges seemed to think it was boring and Simon hated the song! I do not really think he will make it, even if he did ? he is to old and I do not think many people would like him!

Jesse Langseth: Here is the drunken, DUI chick! She sang, “Bette Davis Eyes” by Kim Carnes. I hated it, she was so boring. She also has an 8 year old daughter. HOLY CRAP! I did not know she was that old! Randy thought it was a cool song, but not really for her. Kara thought she looked allot better style wise then she has before. I agree with that, she did look better, but her hair was weird all parted down the center, made her forehead look HUGE! She will not make it!

Kai Kalama: He sang, “What Becomes of the Brokenhearted”. LAAAAAAAAAAAAAME!!!!! That was the most boring song ever, but he is SLIGHTLY attractive so maybe that will help him! Kara said, she liked him allot but he had some pitch issues and the song was to old for him. Simon said, he is a good singer but that performance was old fashions, corny and it was like her was performing at a wedding! HA! That is true, I do not really think he will make it. But he looks like that guy off the show Lost, maybe he could get a job as a fill-in for him? LOLZ!

Mishavonna Henson: She sang, “Drops of Jupiter” by Train. I have heard that song a few times and I do not really like it, but she seemed to do it good! Me and Mum thought it fit her, but the judges disagreed with us. Simon thought it left him cold. No Simon you’re just cold hearted all the time, what do you know?! Kara seemed to think she needed to age down. She has a chance.

Adam Lambert: He sang, “Satisfaction” by The Rolling Stones. I hated the beginning of it, because it was really weird. Simon said, people are either going to love it or hate it. Um… DUH?! Randy liked it. And I dunno what the other two said about him. He is kind of entertaining to watch (Not like Norman though. HA!) but he is a LITTLE overdone. He’s still hot though! He will surly make it…I hope?! Mhm…

Has anyone noticed the people that are sounding old. It is like Amy Winehouse, Duffy, Corrine Bailey Rae are taking over. All these older sounding voices are kind of cool.

My predictions on who will make it - Allison Iraheta, Adam Lambert, and possibly Mishavonna or Norman.
