American Idol Does Rat Pack with Jamie Foxx

So, as we all know it was the Rat Pack Standers week on American Idol. I was not REALLY excited about this, because I went on youtube and watched some videos of those people. O_O! Not my thang…really!

Jamie Foxx was the contestants mentor this week. I kind of like that dude, he is funny. AND I freakin’ L-O-V-E the song “Blame It”. Dude, it has been number one for 10 weeks.

Kris Allen was first: He sang, “The Way You Look Tonight”. He was confused at who was going to be the mentor because all those people are DEAD. LOLZ, I thought the same thing. Jamie said, he would make a record with Kris. That is a pretty big complement. I am liking Kris more and more, but this was kind of boring. Yet good! Randy thought it was his best performance to date. Kara said something about him setting the technical standers and he was/is the dark horse. Paula thought it was incredible and Simon compared him to a “Well trained Spaniel”. I am pretty sure he will stay, but I did not think that was his best ever.

Allison Irehata: She sang, “Someone to Watch Over Me”. Jamie thought she was incredible for being 16. Well, now she is 17. I thought she looked grown up, her hair was pretty. Randy thought she looked like Brittany Murphy but sounded like P!nk - only better. I have ALWAYS thought she sounded like P!nk. Kara was amazed and thought she sang far beyond her years. Paula mumbled some crap… And Simon is not sure about her, he even ask her, “Do you think you can win”. She said, “We all can at this point”. He does not think she has enough confidence to be a winner. PROBABLY BECAUSE SHE IS 17 SIMON. C’MON. Sorry! I thought she did really good, I do not care what Simon says. I would be shy up there too.

Matt Giraud: He sang, “My Funny Valentine”. Jamie had nothing to say to him at first but than called him back into the room and gave him good advice. Or so I thought it was good, BEFORE the performance. Randy thought it was most likely the hardest song choice of the night, and thought it was about 6 out of a 10. Kara did not think he seemed connected to the song. Paula basically said it was wonderful. Simon was like, “I am going to have to disagree with… Randy. It was brilliant”. HUH? Simon, what are you on tonight? I thought it was rather screeeeetchy, and kind of sounded like a cat with its tail under the table leg.

Danny Gokey: He sang, “Come Rain or Shine”. Jamie got all up in his “Grill” and told him, his breath was fresh. Randy thought he was the only one of the night who could actually make a record in that genre and win. Kara thought he had his “Swagger” ? which she was missing from him. Paula said, she was going to keep it short, but she did not do that. So I got confused. Simon agreed with Kara and thought those were his best vocals in weeks. It is not that I did not like it, it was just boring. He sounded good though, not that I listen to that kind of stuff. I think he might go home.

Adam Lambert: He sang, “Feeling Good”. Randy thought it was a bit too theatrical, but he was in his zone. Kara called him… skanky or something along those lines. Paula said, “This is the Olympics and you are Michael Phelps”. Um… I am sorry Paula but, didn’t Phelps get busted for smoking pot? HERE ADAM, have a bong. O_O! Simon liked it and thought he had the best entrance. I thought he did okay, it was not my most favoritest.

Over all tonight was boring, but so are the Rat Pack dudes. I think Matt or Danny will go home. If Allison is in the bottom, I r gonna b pizzed uf, yo!

Be sure and watch the results show tomorrow night on FOX 9/8 central.
